Germain Noubi

Germain Noubi a été nommé Directeur de Bandjoun Station. Il a étudié à l’université de Dschang au Cameroun et est diplômé de Master en management des industries culturelles de l’université Senghor d’Alexandrie. Après l’organisation des expositions « Mes amours » (2014) et « Stories Tellers » (2015), il prépare l’exposition « Dialogue(s) » en février 2016 et « Stand up », collections Bandjoun Station au Cameroun et Centre d’art contemporain d’Iffitry à Essaouira au Maroc, une collaboration pour la biennale de Dak’Art Off 2016 .

He has been appointed Director of Bandjoun Station. He studied at the University of Dschang in Cameroon and he graduated from Master in Management of Cultural Industries at the Senghor University of Alexandria.

After organizing the exhibitions "Mes Amours" (2014) and "Stories Tellers" (2015), he is preparing the exhibition “Dialogue (s)” in February 2016 and "Stand up" offered by the collaboration of Bandjoun Station collections, Cameroon and Contemporary Art Center Iffitry in Essaouira collections, Morocco. These exhibitions are planned for the biennial Dak'Art Off 2016 to promote Contemporary Art in Africa.

Barthélémy Toguo

Directeur artistique, a étudié à l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts d’Abidjan en Côte d’Ivoire, puis à l’Ecole Supérieure d’ Arts de Grenoble en France et en fin à la Kunstadacademie de Düsseldorf en Allemagne. Artiste Plasticien Il crée Bandjoun Station en 2008. Il est chevalier des Arts et des Lettres de la république Française en 2011.

Artistic Director, he is graduated from the National School of Fine Arts of Abidjan in Ivory Coast, the School of Arts of Grenoble in France and the Kunstadacademie Düsseldorf in Germany. Visual Artist, Barthélémy Toguo creates Bandjoun Station in 2008. He has been appointed Knight of Arts and Letters of the French Republic in 2011.

Cynthia Phibel

Diplômée de l’IRAVM de Martinique (2002), en photographie, esthétique et histoire de l’art à La Sorbonne de Paris (2004) et doctorante en histoire de l’art de l’Université Paris 8 (2012). MBA en Management culturel (2014). Cynthia Phibel est présidente de l’association d’artistes Le Bloc Opératoire. Elle monte dans ce cadre le projet DOMTOM Process, organisant des concerts et des expositions, notamment à la Bellevilloise à Paris. Actuellement elle est Chief Curator au Memorial ACTe de Guadeloupe.

She is graduated from the IRAVM Martinique (2002) in photography, Aesthetics and art history at the Sorbonne in Paris (2004). She got a PhD in Art History from Paris 8 University (2012) and an MBA in Cultural Management (2014). Cynthia Phibel is the President of the association of artists “The Operating Room”. In this context, she works the project “DOMTOM Process” and organizes many concerts and exhibitions, including the Bellevilloise in Paris. She is currently head of curating at the Memorial ACTe Guadeloupe.

Dagara Dakin

Dagara Dakin (Benin) Diplômé en histoire de l’art, auteur, critique et commissaire d’exposition indépendant. Il collabore à la mise en place de différents projets (Musée des Arts d’Afrique et d’Océanie (2000), Rencontres de Bamako (2005), Cité Nationale de l’Histoire de l’Immigration (2007-2011). Auteur d’articles et de contributions sur l'histoire de la photographie en Afrique, il participe à l’ouvrage collectif «L’Afrique en regards» paru aux éditions Filigranes en 2005. Ses critiques sont publiées entre autre dans les revues Africultures et Contemporary And. En 2013, il est commissaire associé sur l’exposition "Bridges" dans le cadre de l’année de l’Afrique du Sud en France.

He is an Art critic and curator, he is interested in the question of cultural identities in the Contemporary Art. Since 2000, he has contributed to the development of different exhibitions projects (African Arts Museum and Oceania, African Photography Encounters in Bamako, National Museum of the History of Immigration).

Author of numerous articles and papers on the history of photography in Africa whom book is "L’Afrique en regards" under the direction of Simon Njami at the editions Filigranes. The exhibition "PassésComposés" presented in January 2010 in Paris is the first exhibition under his curatorial.

Née en Côte d’Ivoire, elle a fait ses études supérieures à l’université d’Abidjan. Elle est journaliste culturelle, réalisatrice et critique d'art. Auteur d'un mémoire sur la Gestion de l'industrie culturelle en Afrique, facteur de développement économique, elle a réalisé un documentaire sur l'art ("Vous avez dit art contemporaine africain ?" et " C'était Lattier...") et a Co écrit avec le collectionneur italien Franco Scanzi, "La statuaire akan de Côte d'Ivoire". Elle travaille en free lance à Abidjan où elle collabore avec des galeries et des artistes sur des projets culturels divers.

Born in Ivory Coast, She studied at the University of Abidjan. She is a cultural journalist, producer and art critic. Author of a thesis on the management of the cultural industry in Africa, economic development factor, she realized a documentary about Art ("Vous avez dit art contemporaine africain?" et " C'étaitLattier...") and co-written with the Italian collector Scanzi Franco, "La statuaire akan de Côte d'Ivoire". She works in freelance in Abidjan where she collaborates with galleries and artists of diverse cultural projects.

Née à Douala (Cameroun), Elle est étudiante en Double Cursus en Histoire de l’Art-Archéologie à l’Université de Lille 3 (France) et International Management à l’EMLyon Business School (France). Elle a fondé la BREATH’ARTS PERFORMA en 2015. Dans le cadre du Programme d’échange à l’International, elle suit actuellementune formation en option Management des Arts & Industries culturelles à l’université de Bocconi (Milan,Italie). Elle est commissaire du projet d’exposition « Le Manifeste de la Cité dans le Jour Bleu » à Dak’Art Off 2016 (Sénégal).

Born in Douala (Cameroon) she is completing a Double Degree in History of Art&Archaeology and International Management at the University of Lille 3 (France) and EMLyon Business School (France). She founded the organization BREATH'ARTS PERFORMA in 2015. Under her exchange program at the International University of Bocconi (Milan, Italy) she is currently training in Management of Arts & cultural Industries. She is curator of the exhibition project "Le Manifeste de la Cité dans le Jour Bleu" at Dak'Art Off 2016 (Senegal).
